The Letters S & AThis is probably the easiest, so let's get it out of the way. The letters represent Sanjna and Adithya (obviously! duh!!). Hopefully you guessed thats not all! If you look closely, the S weaves through the A to depict our coming together. Moreover, the letters are set in the color Teal which is the middle of our favorite colors - Green (Sanjna) and Blue (Adithya). Idha kooda kandu pudikkala na romba kashtam! |

The WavesFirst off, both of us are fond of the beach. So, this was a no brainer. But, of course we didn't take it so lightly. The two waves represent the two of us. The ocean represents the vastness of both our families, friends and their merging together to become one. Over-ah yosikkaromo?! |
|
The Sun RaysLets crank it up a notch! The name "Adithya" means the Sun. So, the rays depict Adithya. Wait! We're not done yet! The logo has exactly 14 rays to represent Adithya's date of birth.
Ivlo detail irukkum nu edhir paakala la!! |
|
The SunflowerOkay, last piece. Ippo kooda puriyala na onnume panna muriyadhu! (If you don't get it even now, we can't do anything at all!) Sunflower is Sanjna's favorite flower. She also identifies with it very closely. Just like the flower, Sun makes Sanjna light up. (No wonder she found Adithya! Right? Haha!). Just like the rays, there are 16 petals to represent Sanjna's date of birth. |

A Piece of ArtHopefully that justifies the two week design time now. Yes, we probably spent a lot more than needed. But, for this once in a lifetime event, no time is enough to have all our dreams fulfilled. Also, next time you see any logo in the world, remember the artist who went through an intensive creative process to build that small icon to showcase a brand's history, values, and speciality. |
